Services offered
For those who feel closer to the start of their mental health journey or perhaps have been on one but have come to feel unsure of where to go next, I want to welcome you. Throughout my work as a trauma-focused psychotherapist with individuals and couples, to serving as a clinical director and supervisor, as well as my own ongoing personal work and self-development, I have experienced the therapeutic process in a variety of ways over the years.
In addition to skill building, restructuring patterns, and processing in the therapy room, I have noticed a few core elements that have contributed to enriching healing work:
cultivating a safe, transparent, and paced relational environment in which to heal (for some, the therapeutic relationship is one of the first to exemplify these qualities)
collaborative teaching and learning about the brain and body through neuroscience
learning how to embody emotional experiences (versus intellectualize and cognitively discuss them) and release stored tension in the body (Sensorimotor Psychotherapy)
introducing inner parts to one another and fostering harmony among them (Internal Family Systems)
Check out the areas below where I have concentrated on developing this experience and more, and let me know how you might be interested in working together:
Therapy for individuals, couples, and families
I provide both general talk therapy as well as trauma-focused psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families. Each are different in nature, so please do not hesitate to express your interest by asking for more information.
I have trained and completed coursework in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and also incorporate elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS a.k.a. parts work) along with psychoanalysis and psychodynamic therapy. Through thoughtful collaboration of these modalities, we’ll work to engage the mind-body connection and utilize neuroscience to better understand your unique neurophysiological responses to stress and trauma, behavior patterns, and both interpersonal and attachment dynamics.
Clinical areas I am versed in and work most closely with those impacted by:
intimate partner violence and sexual assault
childhood sexual abuse and incest
psychological and emotional abuse; coercive and controlling behaviors
traumatic grief (suicide and homicide, as well as other loss that is sudden, unexpected, and/or ambiguous in nature)
narcissism, toxic relationships, and infidelity
relationship anxiety, attachment, co-dependency and enmeshment
communication and boundaries, interpersonal conflict at home or in the workplace
generalized anxiety, panic, and acute stress
depression, burnout, loss of direction
self-esteem, identity exploration, empowerment & development for gay men
therapy for therapists, helping professionals, and caregivers

A note on trauma-focused therapy: having worked with trauma survivors at various stages of impact and healing, I’ve found that gently easing into the work through mindfulness and education helps to set a solid foundation upon which to explore the more stressful and overwhelming experiences that have brought you here. That said, please know that you are never expected to remember or share detailed accounts and stories of abuse in order to engage in healing work. Simply being able to name an uncomfortable thought, feeling, behavior or upsetting experience offers us a very helpful starting point to begin exploring our options.
Clinical Supervision & Consultation
I provide clinical supervision and training to individuals whose academic background is in clinical social work and are completing their graduate level internship or are post-grad and actively on the LMSW to LCSW licensure track.
There are a limited number of spots reserved for clinicians who are LMSWs looking for clinical supervision and newly licensed LCSWs seeking consultation and transitional support as they venture into private practice. Depending on capacity, I may also be available to support MSW Interns in a clinically-focused field placement.

Training and Community Engagement
I am available to create custom trainings and workshops, and participate in collaborative conversations as a mental health contributor. It would be great to connect to learn more about your expectations, the conversations you’re looking to have, and how we can get involved.
I have conducted clinical and community based trainings that aid in developing both a foundational and in-depth understanding of PTSD and trauma resilience.
